Welcoming Commitee

The Wallace is held every year over the late May Bank Holiday. It will be the 17th rally in 2008.
It's held at Stirling County Rugby Club, which is overlooked by both Stirling Castle and The Wallace Monument. In short it's a brilliant site for a rally, bars, good grub, showers and toilets. There's all of a 10 minute walk into the city for cafes, pubs, restaurants, bars, takeaways, alehouses, sightseeing, inns etc. Once out of the city there are some great biking roads and places to visit (distilleries always appeal to me), you could go on the traditional rally rideout though this may resemble qualifying for the 500 GP depending on the 'road captain'.
Cally members take the silly games quite seriously. Any suspicion of not cheating is dealt with quite harshly. Remember the referee's decision is final and that he can usually be bribed with a ½ pint of shandy. Club Twente have been known to enter the games but they stopped as people thought their club name was actually 'Club Twente Last'.
